I love this shit … This album is going to sound nuts
The short, written and directed by Spike Jonze, walks the fine line between self aggrandizement and self mockery that runs through all of Kanye’s endeavors. But the filmmaking is on point, with cinematography and sound design that authentically renders that feeling of being really disoriented in a nightclub.
One doesn’t need to love Kanye to love the film, but the Jonze short takes what people love and hate about Kanye’s persona and then pushes it into a new, trippy realm.
John Mayer – Who Says
Who says John Mayer isn’t the shit? … FUCK U!
An album featuring the Black Keys and some of the biggest names in hip-hop will be released Nov. 27 2009 (the so-called “Black Friday” day after Thanksgiving) under the name Blakroc.
The project was spearheaded by rapper Jim Jones and also sports contributions from Mos Def, Q-Tip, RZA, Raekwon, Ludacris, Pharoahe Monch, NOE, Nicole Wray, Billy Danze and the late Ol’ Dirty Bastard.
The Big Pink – A Brief History of Love

100% Certified DOOOOOOPE Music!
There’s something ultimate about London’s The Big Pink. It’s as though they’ve compressed everything that’s great about post-war music into their sound.
They’re as accessible as a pop group, with almost folkishly warm melodies, the spiritual quality of soul and gospel, the rhythmic propulsion of rave, the white noise of punk, the glitchy textures of electronica, and the heavy drones of your favourite New York rock bands past and present.

What do you get when you cross The Noisettes with Kanye West? Wild Young Heartbreaks, of course, a sick mix which mashes up the acapellas from the UK rockers album Wild Young Hearts with the samples, and ideas from Ye’s 808s and Heartbreak remade into new beats. Curated by Mick Boogie and Terry Urban, this remix project features remixes by 6th Sense, Double O, Apple Juice Kid, and more.
